What is my head size?
To determine your hat size, use a measuring tape and go around the largest part of your head (over the bump in the back). Stay about 1⁄4 inch above your ears and eyebrows. Make sure it feels comfortable, not too tight. A little movement is good. If you are in-between sizes, choose the next size up. Check this measurement several times to be sure.
What if I get my hat and it is too big/small?
Getting your hat size correct before your order is so important. We cannot issue refunds/exchanges because each hat is made to order. If your hat is too big, no worries...we send hat fillers with every order just in case. With hat fillers, you just lift up your sweatband and put them where you feel you need it the most. You can also cut them and put them in various places under your sweatband.
If your hat is too small, we suggest buying a hat stretcher online. If after using your hat stretcher, your brim goes a little wavy just grab your iron. Place a tea towel or cloth on top of your brim and iron out the brim until it is flat. We suggest putting something on top of the brim while it dries to keep it flat (books, rocks, etc.). Let dry for several hours before wearing :)
If this doesn't help, you can also use a steam iron/kettle to stretch your hat. Apply steam to the base of your hat (where your sweatband is) at the front and back and either stretch the hat using your hands, or pop it on your head and pull the brim away from your face to create some space. This should do the trick! We have videos on our Instagram for guidance.
What are your shipping costs and policies?
All orders are processed and created within 3-6 weeks. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. Shipping costs within Australia are $40 AUD for standard shipping. International shipping costs are $65 AUD for standard shipping.
Remi Wylder is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. Any fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)
Remi Wylder is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
What is your return and refund policy?
All products are custom made, we do not issue refunds or returns as each piece is made to order.
